Welcome to Kyambogo University Library services.
Kyambogo University Library Services consists of six service centers that include: East End (Barclays), The Library computer Laboratory, at the West End (Faculty of Education), North End (Faculty of Special Needs and Rehabilitation) and the new Central library constructed with funds from AfDB.
The University Library is mandated to provide resources that foster; intellectual curiosity, promote critical inquiry and encourage informed awareness. The University Library supports over 121 academic programs both at the main campus and within the affiliated institutions. This is done through well-established and productive professional networks and support of different stakeholders within and outside the University. As the center for academic excellence, the university Library continues to support and develop programs and initiatives that enhance access and utilization of information resources for quality and competitive education.
We are committed to providing access to our physical and electronic resources, seven days a week. In our newly completed Central library, we shall provide research carrels for graduate students, computer labs for graduate and undergraduate students, a conference room, several seminar rooms and a mother’s room.
In this era of digital information, you’ll discover that we continue to improve our services, collections and facilities in creative ways to meet your information and research needs. We hope you’ll consider the Library to be your educational partner and source of quality scholarship and learning during your time at KyU.
I therefore take this opportunity to welcome you to the library. Do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.
