Barclays Library is located at the east end next to the Main Administrative
building. Its collection serves the general public, staff, and students from the Faculties of Vocational studies, Arts and Social Science, School of Management and Entrepreneurship, and the Graduate school.

The library building is comprised of twin blocks separated by a portico. The lower block has the main entrance, reception/reference, and circulation desk. There is also an open section for classes (500-Natural science to 900-Geography and History), the Supervisor’s office and photocopying service room and reading space 100 users.

The upper Block has two floors: Ground floor holds; Closed Rare Section with a special collection of Kyambogo University Resources, Dissertations, and Theses; Reference material; Reference desk; Staff reading room; Open section for classes (000 – Generalia to 400-Languages) and reading space for over 150 users

The upper floor holds; some offices; training room; storage facility; Office of
BLIS/DLIS training programs coordinator and reading space for about 50 users
